We had earlier reported that the streaming rights of Girls Will Be Girls film have been bagged by Prime Video. The film has now begun to stream on the platform and is available in English, Hindi, and Malayalam with English subtitles.

Girls Will Be Girls, the critically acclaimed film is now available for the public to watch and enjoy! The film is currently streaming on Prime Video and is available in three languages, including English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
The film is written and directed by Shuchi Talati and is a coming-of-age drama, which had performed well at the festival circuit. An Indo-French co-production venture, Girls Will Be Girls is backed by Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal's banner Pushing Buttons Studios. Set against the backdrop of a Himalayan boarding school, the feature explores the coming-of-age exploration of romance and desire by a teenage girl which is curbed by her young mother.
This film had its world premiere at Sundance 2024 and won two prizes, including the Audience Award in the World Cinema Dramatic Category. Told from the perspective of a woman, the film received rave reviews from those who watched the festival cut.
Who are all part of Girls Will Be Girls?
The star cast includes Kani Kusruti, Kesav Binoy Kiron, and debutant Preeti Panigrahi, with Shuchi Talati writing and directing the film in her maiden directorial. It is backed by Crawling Angel Films, Dolce Vita Films, and Pushing Buttons Studios.
Girls Will Be Girls was screened at Goteborg, El Gouna, Karlovy Vary, and the Jogja-Netpac Asian Film Festival. It won the Best Film Award at the Jakarta International Festival, the Biarritz Film Festival, and the Grand Jury Prize at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles.
