Giorgia Andriani makes Sandalwood debut with AP Arjun, Dhruva Sarja's Martin; deets inside

AP Arjun and Dhruva Sarja's Martin has been in the making for a long time but the latest update is that the film is slowly inching towards completion. What's taking so long? Our assumption (as good as yours) is that the scale of the film demands a lot of time & effort on the makers' part and that they are ensuring that the final product is well worth all the hype. The same update tells us that the makers recently shot a fancy song that features Italian model and actress Giorgia Andriani.

Reportedly, the song boasts an opulent set piece that is worth close to Rs. 3.5 crores with as many as 350 foreign dancers part of the ensemble. Reputed Kannada film choreographer Imran Sardhariya is choreographing the number with Dhruva Sarja and Giorgia Andriani at the centre of it.

Many would recognise Giorgia through her social media presence and also her starring roles in films like Non Stop Dhamaal and the recent Tamil web series Karoline Kamakshi, wherein she plays the role of Karoline alongside veteran actress Meena, who plays Kamakshi. Giorgia Andriani has also featured in multiple music videos, including the more recent Wapas Na Aayenge. 

So, the upcoming Martin special number would be her Kannada debut and the actress says that she is kicked about this fact. Speaking to a popular media outlet recently, she said that working with the Action Prince Dhruva Sarja has been a fantastic experience and that she found him to be quite down-to-earth and cool. The same report reveals that Giorgio Andriani will perform belly dance in the special number which, she says, comes at a pivotal point in the film.

The maiden teaser of Martin, which was released about six months ago, offered a glimpse into the larger-than-life world that AP Arjun and others have built. The climax alone is said to have taken close to 40 days to be wrapped up, meaning that one can expect this to be nothing short of a magnum opus. Dhruva Sarja, too, bulked up for the role and he is joined by Vaibhavi Shandilya, Anveshi Jain and others as part of the main cast.
