The stage seems perfectly set for Shiva Rajkumar & Co to come roaring on October 19, as his hardcore fans look forward to the release of Ghost. The action heist thriller written and directed by MG Srinivas carries a lot of promise ahead of its release and it helps that his leading Shiva Rajkumar has been the talk of the town for the last couple of months. As a result, the buzz surrounding the advance bookings of Ghost has been quite intense and the latest is that fans will get a midnight show on October 19.

As per the latest updates on social media, the first-day-first-show of Ghost will begin as early as 12 am on October 19 which means that the film will have a headstart on other big releases of the day, Leo, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Bhagavanth Kesari. Leo, of course, is the latest Lokesh Kanagaraj actioner starring Thalapathy Vijay and others and the same reports reveal that the film will begin its Bengaluru/Karnataka journey as early as 4 a.m. Vijay & Co will meet Nandamuri Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari and the Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Tiger Nageswara Rao at the same time at the box office, with all three big non-Kannada films of the week getting 4 am shows in the city.

Interestingly, when OTTplay recently reached out to Ghost's producer Sandesh Nagaraj about the film's early morning shows, he disclosed that despite the demand, the team was inclined to not allot any 6 a.m. shows. However, things seemed to have taken a slightly different course and Shivanna fans can, indeed, enjoy the movie "at the stroke of midnight". In fact, the makers have released a new poster to share that no Kannada film prior to this has got a 12 a.m. show. Ghost advance bookings are set to begin on Sunday, October 15.

Ghost also stars Anupam Kher, Jayaram, Archana Jois, Prashanth Narayanan and others. MG Srinivas has discussed on multiple occasions about extending the film not only into a franchise but also connecting it with his other Birbal franchise as part of a 'shared universe' concept. The second instalment of Birbal is expected to go on floors later this year.
