Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar recently set theatre screens on fire with his action-packed thriller, Ghost. Helmed by M.G. Srinivas, the film was released in Kannada and Hindi on October 19. However, the Telugu version's release, which was initially planned for the same date, had to be pushed due to the unavailability of theatre screens. It will now be released on November 4.

Telugu version of Ghost to clash with new Telugu releases

The release of Ghost's Telugu version was pushed to October 27, as a few theatres had opened up bookings. However, the release was once again pushed at the eleventh hour, sparking rumours that it might be headed directly for an OTT release. Now, it has been confirmed that the film will hit Telugu screens on November 4.

Meanwhile, in the upcoming week, Telugu fans can look forward to two other noteworthy releases: Keedaa Cola and Polimera 2.

The cast and crew of Ghost

Ghost has a stellar ensemble cast that includes actors Jayaram, Anupam Kher, Prashant Narayanan, Archana Jois, and Satya Prakash, who all have pivotal roles. The film is produced under the Sandesh Productions banner, with Arjun Janya composing the music.

Ghost does moderately well at the box office

Shivarajkumar's action thriller received fairly positive reviews at the time of its release. It made over Rs 16 crore at the box office. However, it failed to match the performance of other big Dasara releases, such as Vijay's Leo, Nandamuri Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari, and Ravi Teja's Tiger Nageswara Rao.

Shivarajkumar’s upcoming projects

The Kannada superstar will next be seen in Dhanush’s Tamil period action adventure, Captain Miller, which is helmed by Arun Matheswaran. This film marks his second film in Kollywood, after debuting with the Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer earlier this year.
