The first look of Ghaati, the upcoming film starring actor Anushka Shetty in the lead role, was unveiled by the makers on social media on Thursday, to celebrate her birthday. The film is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Following the first look unveil, the makers will also be releasing a glimpse of the film later in the evening.

Anushka Shetty, who is celebrating her birthday on Thursday, released the first look of her upcoming film titled Ghaati. The first-look poster is fierce as we see an intense Anushka as she is seen smoking a Banga, while her forehead and hands seem to have bloodied injuries. Anushka looks ruthless and bold, with teary eyes and two nose rings.
Ghaati is presented by UV Creations and produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi. It is to be noted that the upcoming film marks the second collaboration between Anushka and Krish, following the success of the blockbuster Vedam. This is the fourth movie for Anushka under the UV Creations banner.
While it is not yet clear what kind if film it will be, the tagline goes like “Victim, Criminal, Legend”, promising an exploration of themes like humanity, survival, and redemption. Ghaati is touted to be an action thriller film.

The film is currently in its final stages of production. While Manojh Reddy Katasani handles the cinematography, Nagavelli Vidya Sagar scores the music. Thota Tharrani is the art director for the movie, whereas Chanakya Reddy Toorupu is the editor. Chintakindi Srinivas Rao provided the story, while Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues.
A release date for Ghaati is yet to be announced. The Anushka Shetty-starrer will release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty was last seen in 2023 Telugu film Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. The actor also has Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer, which will be marking her Malayalam debut.
