Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arunima Ghosh to lead a comedy web series on Fridaay

Amid the trend of horror and thriller content that is reigning in Bengali web series, a comedy series is on its way. According to media reports, Gaurav Chakrabarty and Arunima Ghosh will play the lead. Arindam Chakraborty is directing the series. The web series will be released on the new OTT platform, Fridaay.  

The story revolves around the conflict between two families. Asim Roychoudhury plays Arunima's father. The actress to play Gaurav's mother has not yet been decided. The story will move forward centering two parents.  

Arindam previously made the series Ami Nandini for this OTT, starring Sourav Das, Sweta Bhattacharya, and Alivia Sarkar. The name of the new series has not been finalized. The look-set was supposed to take place on Monday and the shooting of the web show will start on Wednesday.
