Gateway to Shark Tank India 2: All you need to know about the digital exclusive episode, featuring a new shark!

For almost two months now, Shark Tank India 2 has been setting ablaze the spark of entrepreneurship in Indian viewers that can inspire the next generation of up and coming business people in the country, just like its predecessor. The popular business reality show has won hearts yet again with its second season, and the makers have planned a special treat in store for viewers. The series will air its first ever digital exclusive episode, which will feature an all new guest shark in the judging panel.

The digital exclusive episode will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to present their business ideas and innovations to some of the most seasoned business minds in the country- the sharks. The episode will air only on SonyLIV, and will see Vikas D Nahar, CEO and Founder of Happilo, a dry fruits brand, as the latest addition to the judging panel.

Vikas’ family were engaged in growing pepper and coffee, and the businessman started Happilo with an initial capital of Rs 10,000 and a two member team. Within a span of six years, he built the enterprise into a leading player in the dry fruits market.

On being a part of Shark Tank India season 2, Vikas spoke of how the show was a ‘harbinger of change’, and had a highly engaged audience as well. “I am excited to join the panel as a guest Shark to support creative minds and give them a window to dream big. I believe it’s important to foster the nation's youth, promote innovation, and celebrate an entrepreneurial mindset to boost India's growth trajectory”, he said.

The makers are yet to announce a release date for the digital exclusive episode of Shark Tank India season 2. New episodes of the show air every Monday to Friday at 10 PM on SonyLIV and Sony TV.
