Gangubai Kathiawadi song Jab Saiyaan: Alia Bhatt-Shantanu Maheshwari's romantic track will remind you of your first love

Gangubai Kathiawadi's first romantic single is out and it's sweet! The song titled Jab Saiyaan is crooned by Shreya Ghoshal. A M Turaz has penned the lyrics of the latest track, while Sanjay Leela Bhansali has composed the music. 

Jab Saiyaan begins with an adorable scene, where Shantanu Maheshwari's character can be seen waiting under Gangubai's house. The actress comes out and plays a fun card game with her admirer. Moving on the shy Shantanu can be seen admiring Alia as she bathes inside her house. Both of them can be seen going on a date in the end of the track.

With the latest song, the makers have finally introduced Shantanu and unveiled that he is playing a key character in the film. Jab Saiyaan will remind the audience of their first love.

The lead actress shared the latest track on her Instagram handle with a lovely caption that reads, "Unfolding the cards of love! Bringing to you a piece of Gangu’s heart, introducing @shantanu.maheshwari (sic)."

The melody queen Shreya considers Gangubai Kathiawadi as one of her favourite films and says that Jab Saiyaan is one of the most different compositions by Bhansali. "It's always a learning experience for me every time I work with him. 20 years of my musical career and I have to thank him for believing in me and giving me my debut," added the actress in a recent statement.

The forthcoming biographical crime-drama film features Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa playing supporting characters with Ajay Devgn, who'll be seen in an extended cameo role. Gangubai Kathiawadi is slated to hit the theatres on February 25.
