Game Changer, the political action thriller film directed by Shankar, is expected to mark Ram Charan’s comeback to the big screens. The Telugu superstar, who earned global fame with RR Rajamouli’s RRR, was supposed to return to the big screens with this highly anticipated project. However, Game Changer was delayed indefinitely, as Shankar was busy filming his ambitious project Indian 2, simultaneously. However, in a recent event, producer Dil Raju confirmed that the Ram Charan starrer is finally gearing up to hit the theatres in December 2024.
Ram Charan’s Game Changer to get a Christmas release?
Dil Raju, the producer who bankrolls Game Changer under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, recently reacted to questions about the Game Changer release date, at an event. The producer, who finally opened up about the film’s release, confirmed that the Ram Charan starrer is gearing up for a December 2024 release, as a Christmas special release. Meanwhile, the sources close to the project suggest that the makers plan to release the film worldwide on December 20, 2024.
The new update came as a big relief for the Ram Charan fans, who were upset about the long delay of Game Changer. If the reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to announce the release date of the political thriller officially soon, along with a major update. Some unconfirmed reports suggest that director Shankar and his team, who are now solely focusing on the much-awaited project, are planning to release the long-awaited Game Changer teaser, very soon. An official announcement on the same will be out in a few days.
Ram Charan’s double role in Game Changer
As reported earlier, Ram Charan is playing a double role in Game Changer, as a father and son. Kiara Advani, the popular Bollywood actress, is playing the female lead in the film. SJ Suryah is appearing as the lead antagonist in the Shankar directorial, which stars Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Anjali, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Sunil, Nassar, and others in the supporting roles. S Thaman has composed the songs and original score for the film.
