Game Changer, the highly upcoming action film marks the first onscreen collaboration of Ram Charan and Shankar. The Telugu superstar and veteran filmmaker’s first outing was announced in September 2021. After almost a year-long pre-production, the much-awaited film started rolling in October 2022. However, the shooting of Game Changer was delayed multiple times, due to director Shankar’s busy schedule.
Even though it was earlier reported that the Ram Charan starrer might get a Summer 2024 release, the recent updates suggest that the project might get postponed again. The new update has left both the fans of the RRR actor and cine-goers disappointed.
Game Changer to release in September 2024?
According to recent updates, the release of Game Changer has been delayed further as director Shankar is currently busy with his upcoming ambitious project, Indian 2. The pending portions of the highly anticipated movie will be filmed in another schedule, which is expected to go on floors in February 2024. The latest updates by The Aakashavaani X handle suggest that the makers are planning to release the Ram Charan starrer in September, this year.
If things go as planned, the makers might officially announce the Game Changer release date, along with a special poster or teaser of the film very soon. However, the new release update has further disappointed the Ram Charan fans and cine-goers, who were eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the big screens by the Summer of 2024. The lack of official updates has also irked the fans, who have been blaming producer Dil Raju and the production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations for the same.

If the reports are to be believed, Game Changer features Ram Charan in a double role, as a father and son. Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that the father’s character is a freedom fighter, while the son, who is the main protagonist, will be an IAS officer. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is playing the female lead in the film.
Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Nassar, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Naveen Chandra, Rajeev Kanakala, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and other essay the supporting roles. Thaman S is composing the songs and original score. Tirru is the director of photography. Shameer Muhammed handles the editing.
