Game Changer is finally out in the open after a long wait of three years. Directed by Shankar, the film stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles and hit the screens on January 10, 2025, as a Sankranthi special. Based on ticket sales, the predicted day-one collections were sky-high, and we have all the details for you.

Game Changer kicks off with a bang

As per early estimates, Game Changer is expected to gross close to ₹150 crore worldwide on its opening day a massive figure attributed to Ram Charan's immense popularity. A significant portion of the collections comes from the Telugu states, with an estimated ₹70 crore gross expected from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone.

Initially starting with a low buzz, the makers left no stone unturned in their marketing efforts, ensuring massive openings. When compared to Pushpa, Game Changer might fall slightly short, but it has still begun with a bang. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film is expected to perform well in the coming days, especially with the five-day Pongal holidays in the Telugu states a prime time for moviegoers.

Game Changer collections in Tamil Nadu and Kerala

In Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Game Changer could gross between ₹10 to ₹12 crore each. However, the film will face stiff competition as two other big releases, Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, are set to hit the screens on January 12 and January 14, 2025, respectively.

Ram Charan, seen in a dual role, has garnered immense praise for his performance. It has been four years since his last release, and fans were eager to see what Shankar had crafted in this political thriller. The film features Charan as an IAS officer, with Anjali and Kiara Advani playing the female leads and SJ Suryah portraying the main antagonist.
