Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, is set for release on January 10 for Sankranthi

Game Changer is the upcoming Telugu-Tamil film starring actor Ram Charan in the lead role, is all set to open in theatres for Sankranthi, on January 10. The film is directed by Shankar and stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. With only five days left for the release, the Andhra Pradesh government has granted permission to hold benefit shows as early as 1 AM, on the day of its release, with a ticket price of Rs 600.
Game Changer directed by Shankar and featuring Ram Charan, is gearing up for release on January 10. Ahead of this, the Andhra Pradesh government has allowed the producers, Sri Venkateswara Creations, to screen additional shows and hike ticket prices. As per the government order, the government has allowed Game Changer makers to screen benefit shows at 1 AM on January 10 with each ticket price at Rs 600.
In addition to this, six shows, including an extra show at 4 AM at additional price of Rs 175 for multiplexes and at Rs 135 for single screens. This will include only for the first day, with five shows permitted from January 11-23 with additional amount of Rs 175 and Rs 135 respectively.
Pushpa 2 was the last big release Telugu film industry witnessed. The Allu Arjun-starrer had premiere shows allowed to be conducted a day before its release, resulting in stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The situation caused a death of woman, after which Allu Arjun was arrested and granted bail.
While Game Changer does not seem to have premiere shows so far, one has to wait and see if theatres will once again become a place of chaos. Game Changer is a political action thriller which will star Ram Charan in dual roles. Actors SJ Suryah, Anjali, Samuthirakani and others are also part of the film.
