The day and date of 15 June 2001 will always be remembered by the multitude of Sunny Deol’s fans. This was the day and date when the Sunny Deol starrer ‘Gadar’ was released. Buoyed by the film’s thunderous success, the film’s makers took their time to come up with the film’s sequel. And when they made the sequel, they not just titled the film as ‘Gadar 2’, they also retained the film’s star cast as Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the iconic roles of Tara Singh and Sakina. And, ever since the time, ‘Gadar 2’ got announced, the film had been making news.

With the film ‘Gadar 2’ releasing today, the film’s makers put an end to the anxious wait of the impatient fans who were dying to see their Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) illuminate the silver screen with his golden presence. Immediately after the film’s release, there were many who stepped out of the theatres praising Sunny Deol’s outstanding performance in the film. Speaking of Sunny Deol, today, Salman Khan took to social media and praised Sunny Deol and his performance in ‘Gadar 2’.

Salman Khan, who posted the poster of ‘Gadar 2’, which had an angry and agitated Sunny Deol with a huge tyre in both his hands, captioned the same as, “Dhai kilo ka haath equals chalis cr ki opening. Sunny paaji is killing it. Congrats to the entire team of Gadar 2. @iamsunnydeol @ameeshapatel9 @anilsharma_dir @iutkarsharma @zeestudiosofficial #TeamGadar”. After Salman Khan posted this, in no time, the comments section of the post started getting filled with compliments galore and acknowledgements from the multitude fans of both the superstars.

As for the film ‘Gadar 2’, besides Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, it also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha and Simrat Kaur in prominent roles. The film has been directed by Anil Sharma, who had earlier directed ‘Gadar’.
