Gadar 2 song Main Nikla Gaddi Leke: Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma bring back the charm of the original foot-tapping track

After the reprised version of Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava from Gadar 2, the makers have dropped the new version of Main Nikla Gaddi Leke. The song, which was a chartbuster two decades ago, has its own reprised version, keeping the same flavour as the original. This time, along with Udit Narayan, his son, Aditya Narayan, sang the song picturised on Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma. The video also features Ameesha Patel reprising her role as Sakina.

The song begins with Utkarsh's character receiving the motorcycle he had asked for from Sunny, who plays his on-screen father in the video. It's a time for celebration, and most of the cast has come together and is dancing to the iconic track. The video also features a romantic sequence between Sunny and Ameesha, showing that even after two decades, love has stayed the same for Tara Singh and Sakina.

Mithoon has rearranged the new version with the lyrics by legendary Anand Bakshi, and Shabina Khan has choreographed the track.

After 22 years, Tara, Sakina, and Jeete, India's most beloved family, return in Gadar 2. This time around, Tara Singh will be fighting for the honour of his country and his family during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Other actors in the cast include Simrat Kaur, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, Mir Sarwar, Rohit Choudhary, and Rumi Khan.

Earlier, while talking about making Gadar 2, Sunny had said, "We had made Gadar, but the audience made it a blockbuster. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about whether we would do justice and continue the legacy of the first part. The film's director, Anil Sharma, said that after several calls, he finally agreed to listen to the story. He had tears in his eyes when we sat down for the narration and finished it. Thus began the journey of Gadar 2."

The Anil Sharma film is slated to release on August 11, 2023.
