The most anticipated Hindi film of the year, Gadar 2's world digital debut, was announced by ZEE5. The film, which has already grossed over Rs. 526 crores in India at the box office and is still going strong, will begin its OTT run on October 6. The superhit sequel to the 2001 hit Gadar is to be produced by Zee Studios and directed by Anil Sharma, starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma as Tara Singh, Sakeena, and Charanjeet Singh, aka Jeete, respectively.

After 22 years, Gadar 2 reunites Tara, Sakeena, and Jeete. The 1971 Indo-Pakistani War provides the backdrop against which Tara Singh must once again stand up to any and all adversaries in order to save the honour of his country and his family. This time around, the story will go into greater detail about the unwavering love between Tara Singh and Sakeena, and readers will also witness the profound father-son tie between Charanjeet and him as the former lands in Pakistan and is subsequently captured and tortured by the Pakistani government. Previously, Tara Singh went to Pakistan to retrieve his wife, but this time he'll go back to reclaim his son.
Sunny Deol's most famous line, "Hindustan zindabad tha, zindabad hai aur zindabad rahega," will forever ring in the ears of every Hindustani, so get ready for bigger, better, and bolder action sequences. Also returning from the original film are charttoppers from 2001, including Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava and Main Nikla Gaddi Leke, with Sunny Deol singing and dancing to both.
