The director-producer has finally broken his silence on the issue

Pretty much for all of 2023, there has been a buzz around Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's Gadar 2. Fans of the original film can't wait to see the two actors recreate magic once again on screen.
Amid all the excitement and public appearances of Sunny and Ameesha as their characters from the film came an allegation that rocked Bollywood.
Ameesha recently slammed Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma for "mismanagement". Through a series of tweets, the actor claimed that Anil, through his production house, Anil Sharma Productions, had not paid several technicians, such as makeup artists and costume designers, their dues.
Anil, who has been silent on the issue, has finally spoken up. In an interview with Dainik Bhasker, the director-producer rubbished the claims while saying that he doesn't know why Ameesha has brought this up now.
"All I would like to say is that this is all false. None of this is true," said Anil, who then went on to thank Ameesha. Why? "She made my production house famous. What can be bigger than this? I thank her for making my new production house famous," he added.
Meanwhile, the latest development from Gadar 2 is that actor Nana Patekar has narrated the opening of the film. It may be recalled that late actor Om Puri narrated the opening of Gadar – Ek Prem Katha.
Gadar 2 also stars Utkarsh Sharma and Aamir Naik in lead roles.
