There is no denying that Vishwak Sen's Gaami is the surprise hit of 2024. Not many even knew that such a film was coming out in the first place, but the teaser caught the imagination of all. Directed by Vidhyadhar Kagita, Gaami was a massive success and made close to Rs 14 crore at the box office worldwide.
Gaami clocks 50 million streaming minutes on ZEE5
ZEE5 spent big bucks to bag the OTT rights to the film. The fantasy drama, which started streaming on April 12, 2024, has taken a memorable start on ZEE5. Gaami has clocked a whopping 50 million streaming minutes in just 72 hours of its release, which is unheard of for a Telugu film on ZEE5.

Gaami cast and budget details
Sweekar Agasthi and Naresh Kumaran composed the music for this film, whose BGM was highly appreciated. Vishwanath Reddy Chelumalla and Rampy Nandigam handled the camera, and their work was highly appreciated. The heart of the film is the visuals and thrills shot in the Himalayas.
Chandini Chowdary, Abhinaya, and Abdul Samad played key roles in this film about an Aghora with a special touch. Gaami was made on a budget of just Rs 2 crore and made three times that amount in profits. As the pre-release business was done at a very low price, all the parties involved saw massive returns.
The OTT release also happened in a special manner in Snow World, Hyderabad. Vishwak Sen is super thrilled with the success of this film. He did not charge a single rupee during the making and now he has taken a share of the profits. He will next be seen in a film titled Mechanic Rocky and an action drama called Gangs of Godavari.
