Be it Locked, Godfather, Godse, 47 Days, Thimmarusu or Jyothi Lakshmi, Satyadev is synonymous with intense roles in his fruitful decade-long stint in Telugu cinema. However, Sharan Koppisetty, the director behind films like Kiraak Party, Thimmarusu, has reimagined himself in a fun avatar in his upcoming film titled Full Bottle. The film’s teaser was launched yesterday.
Full Bottle is set amidst a Kakinada backdrop where Satyadev will be seen in a light-hearted yet massy avatar, where his comic timing comes to the fore. Be it his cool look, casual yet effortless dialogue delivery as a drunkard with Kakinada slang and the slick presentation, the film promises to be a welcome departure for Satyadev from a series of serious films.
While Sharan Koppisetty has made thrillers like Thimmarusu and ZEE5’s web series Gaalivaana, he was equally impressive in his funnier outings Kiraak Party and Grill (web series for Viu). It’s not surprising why Satyadev is quite excited for the film, for it presented an opportunity to reinvent himself and try something new. He’s cast as Balakrishna fan in the same.
Sanjana Anand plays the female lead in the film whose supporting cast comprises Brahmaji, Sai Kumar, Sunil, Viva Harsha, Priya, Raasi, Swetha Naidu. In the teaser launch yesterday, Satyadev claimed that the title Full Bottle is a metaphor for life (which has four quarters). The actor said it was a positive influence to have someone like Brahmaji on the sets.
The teaser has already garnered a million views within a day of its launch. Ramanjaneyulu Javvaji and SD Company are bankrolling Full Bottle which has music by Smaran Sai. Santhosh Kamireddy is the editor of the film with cinematography by Sujatha Siddharth. The release date of the film hasn’t been announced yet.
