From The Family Man S2 to Aarya S2, top Indian web series of 2021

Indian web series ruled in 2021 as well and shows like The Family Man S2 and Aarya S2 especially made headlines for a long time and for the right reasons. The two shows have managed to get into the list of top 10 web series of 2021.

Ormax Media released a list of the same, almost a month after IMDb shared its list of the top web shows of 2021. Bhuavn Bam’s Dhindora also made it to the list for obvious reasons.

Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man S2 and Kay Kay Menon’s Special Ops 1.5 made it to the top two. Both the series received a lot of acclaim upon its release in the year.

Kota Factory S2 and Aspirants also made it to the list on the third and fourth positions. The two series have been the most underrated series among viewers.

The Legend Of Hanuman is the fifth most popular web series of 2021. Streaming on Disney+Hotstar, the show talks about the Indian God, Lord Hanuman.

Bhuvan Bam’s Dhindora, which released on his YouTube channel BB Ki Vines, made it to the sixth spot. The series became quite popular for not only spreading important messages but also bringing all YouTubers together.

Mohit Raina’s Mumbai Diaries 26/11, based on the terrorist attack on Mumbai on November 26, 2008, spoke about what the doctors went through during the tragic incident. Similarly, Abhay Deol’s 1962: The War In The Hills was based on the Sino-Indian War.

Sushmita Sen’s Aarya S2, which released in the later half of 2021, became instantly popular. It is the ninth most popular series of 2021.

Hostel Daze S2 also made it to the list. The show, much like Kota Factory and Aspirants, is a moderately popular show. It is rated among one of the more underrated web series.

The Last Hour, Candy and Grahan were among the few releases which IMDb listed as the top Indian web series of 2021 but Ormax Media did not list. Tamannaah Bhatia’s November Story also did not make it to the list.
