One example is Karan Nath who has entered the Bigg Boss OTT as a contestant. In the early 2000s, the actor made his debut as a leading star and gained instant fame for coming from a filmy background. However, he is yet to create a foothold in Bollywood.

Who is Karan Nath?

Karan Nath is a Bollywood actor and the son of producer Rakesh Nath who has backed the popular film Dil Tera Aashiq. His mother is Reema Rakesh Nath, the one who penned the script of Saajan starring Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit-Nene in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Karan's grandfather is veteran actor DK Sapru who has been a part of more than 300 films.

Karan Nath started his career as a child artist

Karan Nath was one of the child actors who featured in the Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer Mr India in 1987. He was among the orphans adopted by Anil's character Arun in the Shekhar Kapur directorial.

Karan Nath made his debut as a leading actor with the film Paagalpan released in 2001. However, his claim to fame was Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa which was released the next year.

Karan Nath has starred in a few other films such as Sssshhh..., LOC Kargil, Tum - A Dangerous Obsession, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny and Guns of Banaras which was released in 2020.
