From Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Jawan to Adipurush, Maidaan, know about the Bollywood films releasing in the second quarter of 2023

The first three months of 2023 have gone by, and they have indeed given us memorable movies. Pathaan, in which Shah Rukh Khan plays the title role, is one of the biggest blockbuster Hindi movies of all time. Then came Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's first outing together, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Along with hits, there were misses too, including those by Selfiee and Shehzada, among others. Now Bollywood is gearing up for the second quarter, and the lineup indeed looks exciting.

The films releasing from April 2023 to June 2023 include Gumraah, Mrs. Undercover, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Chatrapathi, Jawan, Adipurush, Maidaan, and Satyaprem Ki Katha, as of now.

T-Series Films and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Productions jointly produce Vardhan Ketkar's criminal thriller Gumraah. With Aditya Roy Kapur in a double role, the film also features Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy. It is a remake of the 2019 Tamil movie Thadam.

Inspector Shivani Mathur is asked to look into the death of a man, and she finds two suspects who look alike but don't know each other. Shivani, however, finds additional information about the case that complicates matters for her.

Mrs. Undercover, a spy comedy starring Abir Sengupta, Varun Bajaj, Ishan Saksena, and Sunil Shah, was directed and produced by Anushree Mehta. Radhika Apte, Sumeet Vyas, and Rajesh Sharma play major parts in the movie.

Radhika Apte plays a spy who has been hiding out for ten years as a housewife named Durga. Suddenly, she is called back to duty. She maintained her cover for 10 years, acting as a loving housewife with a patriarchal husband, nearly forgetting that she was actually an undercover spy.

Farhad Samji is the director of Salman Khan Productions' action film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Together with a large supporting cast, the movie stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, and Jagapathi Babu.

Bhaijaan, an honourable guy who uses force to resolve conflicts with anyone and lives contentedly with his brothers, resolves to change his ways for his lover. But Bhaijaan discovers that his girlfriend's family is in danger as a result of their former competitor and sets out to defend them covertly.

Action-drama Chatrapathi is a movie that VV Vinayak has directed and Jayantilal Gada has produced under the banner of Pen India Ltd. It is a remake of SS Rajamouli's Telugu movie Chatrapathi, which starred Prabhas and came out in 2005. Bellamkonda Sreenivas, a Telugu actor who is making his Hindi film debut, plays the title role. Nushrat Bharucha, Bhagyashree, and Sharad Kelkar also feature in the movie.

Atlee wrote and directed the action thriller Jawan. Together with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani, it features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer of the soundtrack.

The mythical movie Adipurush is based on the Ramayana of Sanskrit literature. The film's producers are T-Series and Retrophiles, with Om Raut serving as both the writer and the director. Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan (in his Telugu debut), the film was shot concurrently in Hindi and Telugu. Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth also play important parts.

With the aid of Hanuman's army, Rama, the king of Ayodhya, travelled to the island of Lanka 7,000 years ago to rescue his wife Sita from Ravana, the evil ruler of Lanka.

The producers of the Amit Sharma-directed biographical sports drama film Maidaan are Arunava Joy Sengupta, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Zed Studios. It features Ajay Devgn as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, together with Priyamani, Rudranil Ghosh, and Gajraj Rao, and is based on the golden age of Indian football (1952–1962). AR Rahman is the composer of the music.

Sameer Vidwans is the director of the musical romance film Satyaprem Ki Katha. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are the stars of this Nadiadwala Grandson Productions and Namah Pictures joint production.
