The first three months of 2023 have gone by, and they have indeed given us memorable movies. Pathaan, in which Shah Rukh Khan plays the title role, is one of the biggest blockbuster Hindi movies of all time. Then came Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's first outing together, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Along with hits, there were misses too, including those by Selfiee and Shehzada, among others. Now Bollywood is gearing up for the second quarter, and the lineup indeed looks exciting.

T-Series Films and Murad Khetani's Cine1 Productions jointly produce Vardhan Ketkar's criminal thriller Gumraah. With Aditya Roy Kapur in a double role, the film also features Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy. It is a remake of the 2019 Tamil movie Thadam.
Inspector Shivani Mathur is asked to look into the death of a man, and she finds two suspects who look alike but don't know each other. Shivani, however, finds additional information about the case that complicates matters for her.

The mythical movie Adipurush is based on the Ramayana of Sanskrit literature. The film's producers are T-Series and Retrophiles, with Om Raut serving as both the writer and the director. Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan (in his Telugu debut), the film was shot concurrently in Hindi and Telugu. Sunny Singh and Vatsal Sheth also play important parts.
