Freedom At Midnight
Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani is all set to bring a political thriller series, titled Freedom At Midnight. The show stars Sidhant Gupta, Chirag Vohra, and Rajendra Chawla in the roles of Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel respectively. The show is based on the book of the same name by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins. The political drama will highlight the incidents from the year of India's independence and will showcase crucial events and personalities who played a pivotal part in writing the country's history. The story is penned by Abhinandan Gupta, Adwitiya Kareng Das, Gundeep Kaur, Divya Nidhi Sharma, Revanta Sarabhai, and Ethan Taylor.
Scam Season 3
After the two successful seasons of the Scam franchise, Hansal Mehta is all set to bring Season 3, titled Scam 2010 - The Subrata Roy Saga. This time, the show will focus on the life of businessman Subrata Roy. The show is based on the book, Sahara: The Untold Story by Tamal Bandyopadhyay. The cast of the show is yet to be announced. According to the press release issued by the makers, in the early 2000s, Subrata Roy was caught in a whirlwind of accusations from chit-fund manipulations to fake investors. He was then arrested in 2014. The new season is a follow-up to the critically acclaimed first and second part Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story and Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, respectively.
36 Days
36 Days has been in production for a year now and the makers have recently announced the release date with a trailer. The show stars Neha Sharma, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sushant Divgikar, Shruti Seth, Purab Kohli, Sharib Hashmi, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in important roles. The trailer of the film reveals that all the characters in the show are linked to Neha and are in danger as she might kill them one by one. The story of the show revolves around romance and betrayal. Directed by Vishal Furia, the series will be out on July 12.
