Flex X Cop OTT release date - Ahn Bo Hyun’s latest K-drama is all set to begin streaming on THIS platform

A new romance-mystery K-drama, starring Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun in the lead, has been unveiled on Disney+ Hotstar. A few weeks ago, the streaming platform dropped a fascinating teaser trailer that piqued the interest of K-drama fans as they eagerly await the charismatic My Name star to reprise his magic with the mystical drama. Here’s all you need to know about the trailer and plotline for the new series before adding it to the binge-watch list.  

Last week the makers released new posters, dropping hints that the action-packed drama will follow an ensemble cast led by the Korean stars of Yumi’s Cells drama Ahn Bo Hyun and lady love Park Ji Hyun teaming again, which is slated for a January 26 release date.

Plot and Cast

The plot revolves around the generation three heir of a chaebol (affluent business magnet), Jin Yi Soo, who is an immature, spoiled brat, entitled to all the privileges. However, a turning point in his life forces him to change for the better and he begins helping in the criminal investigation. Following this, he joins a passionate police detective Lee Kang Hyun to solve crimes and begins to collaborate in catching petty criminals like robbers.

Ahn Bo Hyun plays the bratty heir of an affluent family of a South Korean conglomerate firm. While Park Ji Hyun portrays a diligent detective. “Flex X Cop” also brings back the charm of the thriller My Name as it marks the writer Kim Ba Da teaming up with the protagonist Ahn Bo Hyun. Directed by Revenant fame Kim Jae Hong, the ensemble cast is led by Kim Shin Bi, Kang Sang Jun, Kwak Shi Yang, and Jang Hyun Sung.

In the short teaser trailer, we get a glimpse of the various teammates clashing over their privileges and dedicated thoughts while working together to fight crime in the country. As the name suggests, Flex X Cop depicts the main character flexing off or showing off his wealth in his new career domain as a cop.

The unlikely lovers will add the dynamics of two clashing protagonists with opposite views on crime, family, and strategies.
