The makers of Saiju Kurup’s next film, Porattu Nadakam, dropped its first song today (April 10). The soundtrack, titled, Nazhoori Paalu, is sung by Rahul Raj and Sithara Krishnakumar. Rahul Raj has composed the music for this film.
The song is easy on the ears but features quirky antics of Saiju Kurup's character as he goes about taking care of a cow. The reason for this is unclear, though. The music video also shows a glimpse of Rahul Madhav and Dharmajan Bolgatty's characters.
Porattu Nadakam is based on a series of events that transpire in the village of Gopalapuram in northern Kerala over the course of 21 days. Most of the film's elements are satirical, according to the makers. Furthermore, they have not revealed the details of the movie's OTT release after its theatrical run, or the date of its big-screen debut.
In the movie's teaser, a man stages a demonstration in front of a cooperative bank and an ambulance is parked nearby. While accusing the bank of exploitation, he consistently maintains that he has no political affiliations. An investigation into the bank's purported scam is suggested by the teaser.
Naushad Saffron is directing the movie, which has the name of a well-known folk-art form from Palakkad. Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Rahul Madhav, Nirmal Palazhy, and Arjun Vijayan are the key actors in this movie.
Manju Warrier unveiled the movie's poster on their social media pages. Porattu Nadakam was shot in a single 30-day schedule in Nileswaram and Kanhangad. The songs are composed by Rahul Raj, while Noushad Shereef is in charge of the camera. The film's co-producer is Gayathri Vijayan.
Aiswarya Mithu, Sooraj Thelakkad, Sunil Sukhada, and Chitra Shenoy are among the supporting cast members. Suneesh Varanad has written the screenplay for this film. This film includes another folk-art form, Kothammuriyattom, in addition to Porattu Nadakam.
