The first look poster for Utsavam, the upcoming Telugu film starring actors Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles, was released by the makers on social media on Friday, on the occasion of Republic Day. The film is written and directed by Arjun Sai.

Utsavam is backed by Suresh Patil under the banner of Hornbill Pictures. The makers of Utsavam also revealed that the teaser for the film will be launched on January 28. A release date for the film is yet to be announced by the team.

First look at Utsavam

The first look poster shows the protagonist, Dilip Kumar, holding a Nataraja idol in one hand and a crown in another, as he is seen sitting on the floor with several drama objects around him. He sports a joyous expression on his face as the film is expected to revolve around a drama troupe. The poster also has the caption, The Show Must Go On.

The film revolves around the protagonist, who is determined to revive the art of theatre and is accompanied by his lover, played by Regina Cassandra. Prakash Raj plays the role of the protagonist’s father in the film, who supports his son in his endeavours. Utsavam is expected to be a positive story, highlighting the art of theatre and throwing some light on the dwindling drama troupes and artists who have been practicing the art in modern times.
