First look of Veera Simha Reddy star Duniya Vijay's 'Bheema' out on THIS date

Duniya Vijay is riding high on the success of his Telugu debut Veera Simha Reddy. The actor plays Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy, one of the main antagonists of the film, and his portrayal has received a lot of love from the Telugu audiences. Now, as the Veera Simha Reddy mania slowly wanes, Vijay Kumar plans on resuming his duties as a director and seeing Bheema to a conclusion.

In a recent conversation with OTTplay, Vijay revealed that he will be back on the sets of Bheema after January 20th and that he would require close to 50 days to wrap up the film (including post-production, most likely). But, with January 20th being his birthday, fans will be treated to the maiden teaser and first look of Bheema on the day: Duniya Vijay took to social media recently to make this announcement.

Although the storyline and other key details remain under wraps, Vijay shares that Bheema will be a gritty take on the crime world and the entire team is striving hard to capture the rawness of the milieu. As the director, he will be launching many unconventional actors through the film with artists like Black Dragon Manju, Gili Gili Chandru, popular social media personality Ash Melo Skyler and others as part of the ensemble cast. 

"I was a newbie in the industry at one point. So, now that I have turned a director, it gives me a lot of pleasure in launching new talents and giving them a platform," wrote Vijay in one his social media posts.

Duniya Vijay made his directorial debut in 2021 with the action drama Salaga, which also starred Daali Dhananjaya and Sanjana Anand. Although the release of Salaga was delayed considerably due to the coronavirus pandemic, fans praised Vijay's efforts as a director, the film's underworld setting and Charan Raj's superb soundtrack.
