The first look of ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's maiden production, LGM (Let's Get Married), is finally here. The film stars Harish Kalyan and Love Today fame Ivana in the lead, with Nadiya Modi and Yogi Babu in crucial roles. The poster features Harish Kalyan posing with an engagement ring box, but he is seen entwined with Nadiya and Ivana with the ring. The social media handle of Dhoni Entertainment Private Limited, the banner under which the film is made, captioned the picture, "First look of #LGM is here! Get ready to be bowled over by this fun filled family entertainer! (sic)."
Going by the poster, it looks like the film will be a comedy, which will also explore the equations between Nadiya (who looks like is playing Harish's mother in the film) and her prospective daughter-in-law Ivana. It looks like Harish Kalyan is stuck between both women. The film, which is a feel-good entertainer, is directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also composed music for the film.
Though LGM is Thamilmani’s first directorial venture, this is not the first time that the director has been associated with MS Dhoni. He is known for his graphic novel, ‘Atharvaa - The Origin’, which features the ace cricketer as a fantasy superhero.The shooting for the film is happening at a brisk pace and at this rate, it looks like the film will be out mid-summer. The project is presented by Sakshi Singh Dhoni.
Dhoni Entertainment Private Limited had earlier produced the documentary, Roar of the Lion, which revolved around Chennai Super Kings’ return to Indian Premier League (IPL) after serving a two-year ban. With Dhoni's strong connection to Tamil Nadu, it looks like his production house will be churning out many more films under the banner, with namma Thala and his wife Sakshi supporting the projects.
