First look of Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha out; the actor sports a rugged look

The first-look poster of Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha is out. The poster depicts Dulquer in a blazing hot never-seen-before rugged avatar, smoking a cigarette inside a car. The film is directed by debutant Abhilash Joshiy, who is the son of veteran director Joshiy. The first schedule of the shoot is going on at a brisk pace in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. Along with Dulquer, the film boasts a star-studded cast, which will be announced soon.

Sharing the first look on his social media handle, Dulquer wrote, "Presenting to you the First Look Poster of King of Kotha/KOK ! This film is a homecoming in so many ways. I’m back to Malayalam after a gap. I join hands with the first person I called my friend @abhilash_joshiy ! It’s his debut film but brings with him a decade of experience in brand films and cinema (sic)."

The high octane action drama will be produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. Speaking about their association, Dulquer said, “Wayfarer Films is proud to associate with Zee Studios for their maiden venture in the Malayalam film industry! Zee Studios has been associated with some of the biggest hits across languages and it’s a privilege to partner with them for King of Kotha. From pre-production to principle photography, we feel we have found the best team with aligned interests to achieve our vision to the best of our abilities."

King of Kotha is said to be one of the most expensive films to be made in the industry. While the announcement about the leading lady is yet to be out, the buzz is that Aishwarya Lekshmi might bag the role. The film also stars Nyla Usha and Gokul Suresh.
