The first look poster for Por, the upcoming Tamil-Hindi bilingual film, was released by actor Vijay Sethupathi on social media on Wednesday. The film is titled Dange in Hindi.

The first look of Por features the male leads, Kalidas Jayaram and Arjun Das. The poster, split vertically into two, has tints of red and blue, as we get to see the intense looks of both actors. In the Hindi version of the poster, actors Harshvardhan Rane and Ehan Bhatt are featured in a similar fashion. Both posters have a phrase in the middle that reads, “Pick a side," giving us the hint that the film is an action entertainer revolving around a conflict or battle between the two male leads.

What else do we know about Por?

The shooting of Por has been wrapped up. Written and directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film is expected to be an action drama and was made in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. Bhushan Kumar's T-Series banner, which backed Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, is producing Por/Dange, along with Bejoy Nambiar, Prabhu Antony, and Madhu Alexander. Besides the male leads, the film will also feature actors T J Bhanu and Sanchana Natarajan. The makers have remained tight-lipped about the plot details of Por.

The team behind Por

The technical crew of Por includes Priyank Prem Kumar handling the edits, with the screenplay penned by Bejoy along with Mithila Hegde, Francis Thomas, and Neil Julian Balthazar. The film was shot by cinematographers Jimshi Khalid and Presley Oscar D'Sounza. The makers have yet to announce the release date of Por.

Bejoy Nambiar, who has worked in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam industries so far, last made the Disney+ Hotstar series Kaala. The crime thriller starred Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir and Hiten Tejwani. He also made Sweet Kaaram Coffee, a comedy drama series for Prime Video, starring Lakshmi, Madhoo and Santhy Balachandran. The series, involving three generations of women from a family, met with a positive reception. It is to be noted that Bejoy’s last theatrical release was in 2017 with Solo.
