Environment Day reminds us to take a look around us. The packet of chips that you just ate, the bottle of soft drink beside it or even the straw sitting inside the cup of cold coffee and cup itself, all of it plastic, which is trashing our environment. That is the reason World Environment Day exists - to remind us that we should save our environment in the best way we can. It is also a reminder to the fact that we are not the only residents on this planet.
