The makers of the Malayalam upcoming web series, Pharma, confirmed that the filming has been wrapped up, hinting at its digital debut soon. The Malayalam web series will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. Nivin Pauly and Shruti Ramachandran are playing the lead roles in this much-awaited project. Narain and Veena Nandakumar are also playing pivotal characters in Pharma. Further updates on the cast and crew, as well as a glimpse into the characters, are expected in the coming days.
Never before has a popular actor from Mollywood agreed to do a web series in Malayalam. Nivin's Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham debuted on Disney+ Hotstar as well.
Claimed to be a medical drama, the series will also be Bollywood actor Rajit Kapur's return to Malayalam after being away for nearly twenty-five years Agnisakshi, directed by Shyamaprasad and starring Shobana, Srividya, and Praveena, was his previous Malayalam film.
The makers of P R Arun's web series Pharma have not yet disclosed the project's plot details, despite the title suggesting a medical-related theme. Sreejith Sarang is the editor, while Abhinandan Ramanujam has helmed the camera work. Jakes Bejoy has composed the music and original score for Pharma. Additionally, the cast and crew of the Hotstar Special will have a few surprise additions, according to the makers.
The actor is working on the sequel of Abrid Shine’s Action Hero Biju, which will see him reprise the role of a cop. Additionally, Nivin will be seen in Ram's Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, which has been nominated for multiple awards at international film festivals.
In addition, Nivin will have a significant role in Varshangalkku Shesham, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, which debuts in theatres on April 11. In addition, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Pranav Mohanlal, and Kalyani Priyadarshan are among the cast of the movie. After Varshangalkku Shesham, the actor's next big-screen release is Dijo Jose Antony's Malayalee from India, which opens on May 1.
