Fighter: Karan Singh Grover aka Sartaj Gill takes to social media to pen a thank you note for Siddharth Anand and producer Mamta Anand

After all the buildup, hype and massive promotions, the Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter released yesterday (January 25). For the unversed, the film was originally scheduled to be released on 30 September 2022, but had got postponed due to many reasons (including the dreaded pandemic). Those who have seen the film, just cannot stop raving about the film.

Karan Singh Grover aka Sartaj Gill pens a long post

Right from the near-flawless direction to the breath-taking aerial stunts to the spell binding performances, the film is being appreciated. Speaking of performances, Karan Singh Grover, who plays the role of Sartaj Gill took to social media and wrote a long post thanking the film’s director Siddharth Anand and producer Mamta Anand.

Karan Singh Grover thanks Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand

Karan Singh Grover, in his heartfelt post, posted two photographs. While one was with Siddharth Anand, the other was with Mamta Anand. Karan, then, wrote, “Thank you for choosing me to be a part of this awesome, out of this world, ultra-supersonic project. Thank you for choosing me to be Taj. It’s truly an honour. Thank you for everything I’ve learnt working with you”.

He continued, “Thank you for everything I’ve learnt while just being around you and watching you working so hard, working days and nights non stop like super efficient, super strong, super powered, super mutant beings and still having a calming, loving, compassionate smile on your faces every-time I asked you something or cracked a silly stupid joke”.

Karan Singh, who has been married to actress Bipasha Basu, continued his post in which he thanked Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand for being supreme creators and for creating life changing, reality altering and inspiring projects. He also thanked them for the thoughtful and sweet gifts they gave on every schedule just to make them feel so special.

He wrapped up the long post by thanking them for their constant unconditional love and for their patience. Tagging both, Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand, Karan Singh Grover wrote, “Love you both more than I can say”.

As for the film Fighter, besides Hrithik Roshan and Karan Singh Grover, it stars the stunning Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Rishabh Sawhney and Sanjeeda Sheikh in extremely important roles. As far as the box office collections of the film is concerned, according to Sacnilk.com, the film opened at Rs 22.5 crore (Hindi day wise net collection) on its first day. And with today being Republic Day, the collections are expected to rise exponentially.
