Fighter censor board certificate out, a whole song deleted from Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s film

The censor board certificate from Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s upcoming Fighter is out. The same suggests that a whole song from the movie is deleted. This track is called Ishq Thoda Thoda. Ishq Thoda Thoda song deleted

According to the certificate, the second song, Ishq Thoda Thoda dono jagah… ya koi naam de do, is deleted from the final cut of the film. It is deleted at 00:44:04 to 00:46:42, which makes it 02.38 minutes of edited version. Most songs last for that long, especially in theatres and thus, it is likely that the whole track is deleted. Whether it will be released online later, remains to be seen. “The applicant desired to exclude/include the following scenes voluntarily from his/her film after the film’s certification,” the acknowledgment read.

What was replaced/muted/edited/imposed

For the film, which is in Hindi with English subtitles, there was superimposition of no smoking message in Hindi as well. An abusive word was muted from 00:00:53 to 01:18:00. Not just that, suggestive visuals (flirting) were replaced. The scene last eight seconds. Visuals on TV news was also replaced and edited out from 25 minutes to 23 minutes.

About the film

The Siddharth Anand directorial was supposed to be 166.33 minutes long but is 163.55 minutes long now. The film was granted UA certificate and features Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. They play lovers in the movie. Apart from them, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Talat Aziz are a part of the movie. The film will release in two days i.e. on Thursday, January 25.
