The Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter hit the big screen on January 25, a day before Republic Day, and it seems like the film has successfully managed to evoke patriotism in the hearts of Indians. The positive word of mouth about the film has spread like wildfire; thus, Fighter has seen a hike in advance bookings on its 3rd day post-release. The pre-release hype of the film was quite average, but it looks like the story and emotions of the film have managed to garner good attention.

Fighter Advance Booking:

As per reports, Fighter has sold tickets worth Rs 9.35 crore gross through advance bookings. This is a 9% increase from Thursday's numbers of Rs 8.60 crore. By mid-day on Saturday, the film had raked in Rs 10 crore. Now, on-the-spot bookings will decide the fate of Fighter, and the actual numbers will decide if the Siddharth Anand directorial is going to make it big or not. The current trend suggests that the film will see a good jump in the bookings of evening and night shows.

Fighter Movie Review:

The reviews of the film suggest that Fighter is a visual spectacle with Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor at their best. On opening day, the film managed to earn about Rs 24.60 crore. Fighter marks the second collaboration between Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan after War.

Anand has been on a roll; the ace director has earlier collaborated with Deepika Padukone for the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan.
