After numerous rumours and a couple of delays, Fighter is set to hit the big screen on January 25, 2024, enjoying a solo run without competition. The film has gained momentum with high demand and buzz. According to online information, it has a runtime of 166 minutes, equivalent to 2 hours and 46 minutes.
Being a patriotic movie, as indicated by the trailer and the official summary from the certification process, the plot revolves around militant activities escalating along the Line Of Control. To address this, the Air Force headquarters decided to form a special unit named Air Dragons at the Air Force base in Srinagar. The movie has received a U/A certificate from the film certification board.
Boasting star power since its announcement, the film features Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. Supporting roles include Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and others.
As per the reports on the internet, the budget for the film is said to be between Rs 250 crore and Rs 350 crore. The numbers seem possible if you consider the salaries of the stars, who are massive names in the industry at this point.
Reports suggest that the movie will have its digital premiere on Netflix after concluding its theatrical run. While there is no official confirmation, the film is expected to receive a warm reception on the streaming platform, given the high anticipation. If there is an extended cut available for streaming, it may attract additional viewers.
