The next season of Srijit Mukherji’s Feludar Goyendagiri has been renewed and this time, it is going to be Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr. On Tuesday, the poster of the new season was revealed at Hoichoi's sixth-anniversary party, where Tota Roy Chowdhury, Anirban Chakrabarti, and Kalpan Mitra were present. It has been announced that the shooting of Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr will take place in January in Srinagar and other places in Kashmir.
Tota Roychudhury had previously hinted on Facebook about the new release. On September 18, the actor took to his social media to post a picture and hinted that the second season would also take place in the mountains. “Those who supported us in the first season, please extend your support this time too. Your love and support give us courage,” he wrote.
While talking to the media, Tota said, “Feluda is a confident man, whose stable attitude and sharp intelligence amaze me. In the first two times (in Feluda Ferot for Addatimes) when I acted as Feluda, I tried to portray those traits, and even modulated the voice likewise.” Tota has been praised by the audience for his role. However, he also faced backlash from a section of netizens. On several occasions, he emphasised that he would only accept positive criticism and stay away from the relentless negativity.
The first season of Feludar Goyendagiri is based on Darjeeling Jawmjawmat. Besides Tota, Anirban, and Kalpan, as Feluda, Lalmohanbabu, and Topshe, the first season also features Barun Chanda, Rahul Banerjee, Shaheb Bhattacherjee, and others.
Meanwhile, Srijit is busy with his Zee5 cop drama. He has been shooting in Shillong. According to sources, his series features a casting coup of Sumeet Vyas, Regina Cassandra, Anna Ben, Mita Vashisth, Barun Sobti, Chandan Roy, and several others.
