Prabhas is busy with multiple films, one of which is Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the filmmaker behind the hit Seeta Ramam. We have some interesting updates regarding the film's shoot. According to exclusive information from OTTplay, the shooting is currently underway at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Prabhas has joined the shoot, and the team is currently filming several jail-related sequences. A source close to the team revealed that Prabhas is portraying an inmate in these scenes, which are described as intense and patriotic. In Fauji, Prabhas plays a soldier in a story set against a 1970s backdrop.
The film is being made on a massive scale, with a significant portion of the shoot taking place in Ramoji Film City. A large jail set was constructed a few weeks ago, and the production is ongoing at the same location. The makers have brought in several prominent names for this pan-India project. Imanvi will make her debut with this film, while veteran actress Jayaprada will play a key role.
The movie is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind Pushpa. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music, with cinematography handled by Sudeep Chatterjee. The makers are spending close to Rs 300 crore on the budget for this film.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is showing no signs of slowing down, juggling back-to-back films. Once he wraps up Fauji, he will begin work on Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film Spirit. Shooting for Spirit is expected to commence in March 2025. In this film, Prabhas will play a cop for the first time in his career, which has created massive anticipation, especially with Sandeep Vanga riding high on the success of Animal. Stay tuned for more updates on both these exciting projects featuring Prabhas.
