Fateh Twitter Review: Fans shower praise on Sonu Sood's directorial debut; call him India's John Wick

Actor-producer Sonu Sood's directorial debut, Fateh was released in theaters on Friday, January 10., In the film, Sonu played the role of a former special ops officer, Fateh Singh, who lives in Moga, Punjab as a dairy farm supervisor. On the other hand, Jacqueline Fernandez played the role of an ethical hacker, Khushi Sharma. They team up to rescue a young victim of cybercrime. The movie has seemingly won over the internet and fans called Sonu, India's John Wick.

Several fans compared Sonu with Keanu Reeves' John Wick character. One fan said, "bhai aisa lagta hai saari bhadaas nikaal di hai iss movie mein hamare India ka John wick."

Sonu Sood on Fateh v/s Game Changer box office clash

Fateh and Ram Charan, Kiara Advani's Game Changer were released on the same day, January 10. Speaking with News18, Sonu Sood earlier said there are many examples where two or three movies were released on the same day and did well. Talking about Fateh and Game Changer's box office clash, the actor mentioned that good films always do well.

Apart from Sonu Sood, Fateh also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah among others in pivotal roles. The movie is said to be inspired by true events. Produced by Sonali Sood and Umesh KR Bansal, Fateh has been directed by Sonu. The actor has also served as a co-writer on the film with Ankur Pajni.
