Fateh box office collection day 3: Sonu Sood's action thriller fails to gain momentum

Fateh box office collection day 3: Sonu Sood's directorial debut film recently arrived in cinemas. Starring him in the lead role, Fateh clashed with Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's Game Changer on January 10, 2025. Sood's film was majorly affected by this box office clash. Fateh got an opening of Rs 2.4 crore at BO. On day two, the film earned approximately Rs 2.1 crore. However, it failed to gain momentum on day three at the ticket window.

Fateh box office report day 3

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Fateh didn't see any growth in its box office collection on day three of its release. The Sonu Sood-starrer collected Rs 2.10 crore. Considering it, the total collection of Fateh comes to Rs 6.6 crore.

As Fateh failed to gain momentum, the film continued to trail behind Ram and Kiara's Game Changer (Hindi). The S Shankar directorial minted Rs 7.7 crore in Hindi on day three at the ticket window.

That said, Fateh will have its OTT premiere on Disney+ Hotstar after its theatrical run. It generally takes 45 to 60 days for a movie to have its digital premiere. 

Sonu Sood on his challenging sequence in Fateh

In an interview with ETV Bharat, Sonu Sood spoke about the three-and-a-half-minute single-shot action sequence. It was the most challenging scene for Sonu in Fateh.

Talking about it, he shared, "It took two and a half months of prep and involved a team that had worked on Captain Marvel, Fast & Furious, and Jurassic Park. Fighters from Mexico and an elite technical crew were brought in to execute the vision."

"I have often heard from my family and friends that why can’t our action movies look like foreign films, why don’t we have that kind of action and after watching Fateh I hope I have answered that question – that humongous scale of action films can be made here, too," he added.
