Farhan Akhtar announces Don 3 with Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan fans express disappointment

Farhan Akhtar surprised fans by finally announcing Don 3 on his Twitter handle with Ranveer Singh. However, fans seemed quite unimpressed with the latest development after waiting for 12 long years to witness Shah Rukh Khan back in his legendary avatar. Netizens took to Twitter and shared their thoughts about the upcoming film, while most of them demanded that SRK be back in Don 3.

One of the Twitter users wrote, "There's no need to call it Don 3 if you don't have SRK in it. If it's a new era, just effin call it a reboot. Fly on the coat tails of Don & Don 2 and not even have the courtesy to value fan emotions in the right way after years of us wanting an SRK Don 3 is just disrespectful. (sic)."

Another Twitterati requested the makers make SRK's presence possible in the latest instalment even if it's a cameo character.

Meanwhile, a cinephile wished good luck to the director and wrote,Good luck Farhan.. hope Don without SRK doesn't ruin the charm.. Trust on your film making.. Cheers.. (sic)."

Another fan shared an emotional note that reads, "Srk can't be replaced. Emotional connect break ho jayega Farhan bhai. Aur ranveer ke saath abhi Tak bhi koi connect nhi bana hai cinema goers ka. (Sic)."
