Farah Khan has been working in the Hindi film industry for a long time. She is a celebrated choreographer in Bollywood. Farah also donned a director's hat for 4 Hindi movies. Three out of which worked well among the masses. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Farah reflected on her career. During this conversation, she recalled a funny anecdote from the Aamir Khan-starrer Dil Chahta Hai set.
When Farah Khan embarrassed everyone on Dil Chahta Hai set
In her interview, Farah Khan revealed she has had her share of bad days in the kitchen. The filmmaker's confession comes ahead of her show, Celebrity MasterChef. She shared a hilarious anecdote from the Dil Chahta Hai set.
"We were shooting for Dil Chahta Hai in Australia, and I was cooking yakhni pulao in those small pots on the induction cooker, and my then-boyfriend called. I got caught up talking to him, and then I heard fire alarms throughout the building. The entire evening was spent with people making faces as the smell of burnt yakhni pulao filled the air. It was so embarrassing," revealed Farah.
Farah Khan on directing a new film
In the same conversation, Farah mentioned whether she plans to return to direction anytime soon. Her last directorial venture was Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Happy New Year. The director said that after the 2014 film, she took a break because nothing exciting came her way.
"So, I got busy doing other things, which included looking after my kids, going on holidays with them, and enjoying life. I want to direct a film again, but it will happen when I have the right script and when it is destined," she shared.
On the work front, Farah has taken up hosting duties for Celebrity MasterChef. The show will be judged by Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Vikas Khanna. The contestants' lineup includes celebrities like Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Usha Nadkarni, Archana Gautam and others.
