These three words not only assures warmth but also instils the confidence that, come what may, ‘I am always there for you and with you’. These three words ‘Main Hoon Naa’ also happens to be the name of the superhit film which was directed by the ace choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan.

The date was April 30 and the year was 2004, when the film ‘Main Hoon Naa’ got released in the theatres. Backed with great publicity and extremely strong word of mouth ensured that the film worked wonders at the box-office. This film not only gave the audiences reasons to smile, but also saw the emergence of a hit director-actor pair in the form of Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Speaking of Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, these two were friends for many years before their Bollywood debut. And Shah Rukh Khan has been a friend for life for Farah Khan. This was evident from an old video chat which has now resurfaced on the internet. The said video has Farah Khan recalling an old incident wherein Shah Rukh Khan left his shooting mid-way in order to meet her.

The said video has Farah Khan saying, “I always tell everybody that my dad passed away, but he sent you to look after me. And, I really want to thank you because you do look after me. I can recall one incident many years ago, when I was having an emotional trauma and I was on the phone. I don’t know if you remember it, because you have seen me through so many traumas. I was crying on the phone and within half an hour you were standing outside my house after leaving your shoot mid-way. You came in and sat with me for one hour. You just talked to me and it was like the best therapy ever”.
