Fans go gaga over Trisha's regal look as princess Kundavai in Ponniyin Selvan

Trisha, who plays princess Kundavai in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan: I, released her character poster today. The actress, who looked regal and powerful in the poster, captioned it, "In a world of men, a woman of courage. Presenting Princess Kundavai! #PS1 releasing in theatres on 30th September in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada! 🗡️@madrastalkies_ @LycaProductions #ManiRatnam @arrahman (sic)." 

Princess Kundavai was the only daughter of the Chola king, Sundara Chola and queen Vanavan Mahadevi. She had a elder brother, Aditya Karikalan and Arulmoli Varman. Kundavai was known as a fierce princess, who had a mind of her own and a taste for learning and arts.

In the meantime, fans of Trisha are all praise for her look and her character in the film. The teaser of the film will be released tomorrow. While Amitabh Bachchan will be releasing the Hindi teaser of the film, Mohanlal, Mahesh Babu and Rakshit Shetty will be releasing the Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada versions
