Family By Choice Twitter Review: Fans give a thumbs up to Jung Chae-yeon, Hwang In-yeop, and Bae Hyun-sung's series; demand a spin off

Family By Choice, the South Korean series is based on the Chinese drama Go Ahead by Shui Qianmo and Wang Xiongcheng. Starring Hwang In-youp, Jung Chae-yeon, Bae Hyun-sung, Choi Won-young, and Choi Moo-sung, the series has been receiving a lot of love since the beginning. The first episode was on October 9 while the last premiered on November 27, 2024. As the series comes to an end, netizens on X share their reviews. 

Family By Choice is a much-loved series

Soon after Family By Choice ended, fans took to their X accounts and expressed their happiness over how lovely the whole series was. As they want more of it, some fans said that the series needs a spin-off.

Family By Choice plot

Family by Choice follows the heartwarming story of Kim San-ha, Yoon Ju-won, and Kang Hae-jun, three individuals who are unrelated by blood, but share an unbreakable bond during their teenage years. 

They are all raised under the care of Ju-won’s father, Yoon Jeong-jae, who owns a Kalguksu restaurant, and San-ha’s father, Kim Dae-wook, who grow up together as a family. 

Despite their mother's absence, the two fathers try hard to create a happy environment for the three kids. However, circumstances make San-ha and Hae-jun stay away from their family, forcing them to separate. A decade later, the three are reunited. They enjoy the long-buried memories and explore the deep connections that shaped their lives.
