The first-look poster of Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming film Avesham is out. The film, directed by Jithu Madhavan, will release in theatres on April 11.
The poster, which hints at Fahadh playing a lighthearted character, has left film enthusiasts and the actor’s fans excited. Anwar Rasheed and Nazriya Nazim are producing the movie under the banner of Anwar Rasheed Entertainment and Fahadh Faasil and Friends.
Actress and Fahadh’s wife, Nazriya Nazim, shared the movie's first look on Instagram. Actors Keerthy Suresh and Neeraja Rajendran have shared their excitement for the project in her social media post.
Ashish Vidyarthi, Mansoor Ali Khan, Romancham-fame Sajin Gopu, Pranav Raj, Neeraj Rajendran, Thangam Mohan, and Sreejith Nair are also playing prominent roles in this film.
Sushin Shyam has composed the music penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Sameer Tahir is the cinematographer for this film.
Fahadh’s upcoming projects in 2024
Soon, Fahadh Faasil, who had a busy 2023 working on Malayalam films Dhoomam and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, will also be working on Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, directed by Althaf Salim. Kalyani Priyadarshan will be playing the female lead in this film.
Another highly anticipated film by the actor is Pushpa 2: The Rule, in which he will return as the antagonist, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, IPS. The film is releasing on August 15. Fahadh has also been roped into Rajinikanth’s 170th film, Vettaiyan. He is also expected to reprise his role as Amar in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Cinematic Universe. Fahadh was last seen in the Tamil political drama film Maamannan, also starring Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and Keerthy Suresh.

Jithu Madhavan’s second film
Jithu Madhavan’s directorial debut, Romancham, which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, is based on real-life incidents. The horror comedy set in Bangalore was a box office hit, with positive reviews from film critics.
Soubin Shahir, Arjun Ashokan, Sajin Gopu, Siju Sunny, and Abin Bino played lead roles in the film, which was released in theatres on February 3 this year.
