Fahadh Faasil kickstarts Vikram shoot, shares happy selfie with Kamal Haasan

Earlier this month, Kamal Haasan announced that he has kickstarted the shoot of his forthcoming film Vikram. The film is being helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. Now, a week after the film went on floors, Fahadh has joined the shoot. The actor-producer took to his official Facebook page and shared a selfie posing with Kamal and the one-word caption 'Vikram'.

Meanwhile, when Kamal announced the commencement of the shoot, the actor-filmmaker and politician penned a sweet note stating, "Day one of VIKRAM. Felt like a High school reunion. In the past 50 years, this is the longest I have been away from film shootings. Many filmmakers have not seen action for nearly a year. I welcome all my comrades from all echelons back to work at RKFI. Especially Mr Lokesh and his enthusiastic team and my talented brothers, Mr Vijay Sethupathi and Mr Fahadh Faasil."

Vikram also stars Antony Varghese, Narain and Arjun Das in pivotal roles.

While sharing the first look poster which broke the internet, Kamal described the gist of the film in a few words. He wrote, "'Only valour should wear the crown'. I dare again to render before you the best of our talents. Like before, grant us victory!!! Vikram. #Arambichitom @rkfioffl @VijaySethuOffl #FaahadFasil @anirudhofficial."

Earlier during the promotions of Malik, Fahadh had shared his excitement on joining the shoot of Vikram. He had told The Hindu, "I am eagerly awaiting to shoot with Kamal Haasan."

The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
