The second season of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is here with gusto. One of the highlights of the show is Seema Sajdeh speaking up about her divorce with Sohail Khan and lifestyle afterwards. Viewers have been making fun of Seema and mocking that following her divorce from Sohail, she is "no longer a Bollywood wife" ever since the show's Netflix release.
Seema responded to critics in a recent interview with Indian Express, explaining why she is still on the programme despite no longer being a part of the Bollywood wives club. Seema replied with a sarcastic statement after hearing the remark, “I didn’t know women were defined by their husbands and their last name. Is that their only identity?”
In the same vein, Seema switched the "Khan" nameplate from her house with one that reads only "Seema, Nirvaan, Yohaan" in one of the episodes of the series.
On the other hand, Maheep Kapoor also arranges for Seema to meet Sima Taparia of India Matchmaking in one of the episodes. The latter would urge Seema to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding her split from Sohail Khan. Seema continued by disclosing the cause for the divorce and stating that their points of views are divergent. Additionally, she mentioned that they have been apart for five years.
Seema and Sohail married in 1998, and they have two boys, Nirvaan and Yohan. They ended their 24-year marriage by filing for divorce earlier this year. In the meantime, the whispers about their split started to spread following Seema and Sohail have both been seen living separately in the initial season of Netflix's The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.
In 2020, the Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives makes its premiere on the site. Four famous people are the focus of the show: Seema, Maheep, Sanjay Kapoor's wife; Bhavna Panday, Chunky Panday's wife; and Neelam Kothari, Sameer Soni's wife. Netflix is now broadcasting the second season of the programme.
