F3, the sequel to F2: Fun and Frustration, expectedly, is performing well at the box office. The comic caper directed by Anil Ravipudi brought together an ensemble star cast comprising Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Mehreen, Tamannaah, Sonal Chauhan, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, to name a few. Commemorating the film’s victorious run, a success meet was held in Hyderabad on Monday.

Venkatesh said that it was hard to express his happiness in words and added he was thrilled to see crowds turning up in great numbers for F3. “I could sense that we were making a hit film right during the making - the encouragement on set was wonderful. It’s been three years since my fans watched me in theatres. I have been flooded with calls since the past three days,” he stated.

Varun Tej thanked audiences for making a comedy film like F3 a huge success and claimed that even children were dancing to the film’s numbers in theatres. He reportedly spent more time with F3 team than family during COVID-19 and expressed his gratitude to director Anil Ravipudi for his enthusiasm on sets and thanked his co-actors.

Rajendra Prasad, after watching the film, said that he wouldn’t show his face to the public if F3 doesn’t perform well. Calling it a triple blockbuster, he said that it’s great for a film to register houseful boards even on a weekday. He was reminded of his Maayalodu days during the making of F3 and compared it to the likes of Gundamma Katha and Appu Chesi Pappu Koodu.

Ali was disappointed that a few naysayers are trying to pull the film down even if it is doing well in theatres. He told that back in his Chennai days, he never came across such instances and requested ‘them’ to live and let live. Anil Ravipudi said he was a satisfied man for contributing his bit to bring back audiences to theatres after the pandemic. Reportedly, nearly 9.5 lakh people have watched the film in Telangana already.

Srikanth Iyengar, Y Vijaya, Pradeep, Gemini Suresh, Annapurnamma, Srinivas Reddy, Stunt Siva and editor Tammiraju were also present at the event. The film had music by Devi Sri Prasad with Pooja Hegde also making a special appearance in a song named Life Ante Minimum Itta Vundaala. Sai Sriram was the cinematographer.
