Vishwak Sen is among the rare bunch of Telugu actors who often speaks his mind, even as hogs the limelight for his controversies for every second film. However, with Ori Devuda, set to release on October 21, he's preferring to let his film do the talking. In a chat with OTTplay.com, earlier today, Vishwak spoke of the difference in the approach while remaking popular films like Angamaly Diaries and Oh My Kadavule in Telugu.

"There are films where you surrender yourself to the director and be just another actor on the set. When a director is as good as Ashwath Marimuthu, the need to interfere with the script or the execution doesn't arise. He is confident and has clarity about his vision and I blindly trusted him. This was the same case with films like Hit or Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam too. I come to the set, give it everything, do my job and leave," he said.

"In case of films like Falaknuma Das, a gangster saga (the remake of Angamaly Diaries) I'll open to giving my inputs because of the larger understanding I have of the genre," Vishwak added. The actor also revealed his plans to make a sequel to Falaknuma Das. "It's too early to talk about it and we're yet to commence work. However, whenever I make it, it'll be a pan-Indian film because it'll be a rooted story. Such films are being well received all over country these days."

Given the popularity of Mithila Palkar in Hindi-speaking belt and Asha Bhat in the Kannada market, wasn't there a plan to push Ori Devuda across regions too? "I think it's made for a Telugu audience and I trust it'll do well here. On releasing the film in other markets, you never say no. Sita Ramam released in Hindi three-four weeks after the original and did well."
