Exclusive: Venky Kudumula approaches Chiranjeevi yet again, project likely to be locked

Megastar Chiranjeevi is in no mood to slow down even at the age of 65. The way he is giving back-to-back hits has made him king of the box office once again. His last film, Waltair Veerayya has crossed the 100 crore share mark worldwide and is still attracting the audience even after one month of its release. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is in no mood to rest as he has started the shooting of his new film Bholaa Shankar being directed by Meher Ramesh.

After this film, he is yet to sign a project. Sometime back, there was news that Chiranjeevi will be doing a film with young director Venky Kudumula of Chalo and Bheeshma fame. The project was also announced but as Chiranjeevi asked for major changes, the director did not feel comfortable and the project was pushed ahead and Chiranjeevi got busy with Godfather later.

Now, we at OTTplay have come to know exclusively that the same project is back on track as Venky Kudumula has made drastic changes to the script and has approached Chiranjeevi once again. The megastar has liked the new version and has also given his nod to the young director says the reports. Chiranjeevi is also in talks with a few other directors and only time will tell when he takes this film on floors.

For Venky Kudumula, this is a big offer as directing Chiranjeevi in just his third film is no joke. The said project is once again a fun drama and Chiranjeevi will be seen as a professor in the film as per the gossip. For now, the director is also busy penning scripts for some of his other projects. He is also in talks with a few young heroes and we need to see what his next film is going to be.
